And-o has decided to cut Brooklyn some slack, since JohnM, Mulsey & Forum Fan are not likely to ever post their photos (plus, And-o digs a digger)!


...if "Three Lions" make the Final Four of the World Cup in Germany, you'll all get a wonderful photo of And-o to end the speculation/suspense (trust And-o, you all ain't missing much)! 


Now And-o asks, is that fair of what?!?! 


We'll leave it all up to Beckham's lads! 


(BTW...And-o thought that England looked weak today versus Paraguay!)

Their fans think they are a good team.  Fans of actual good soccer teams know that England stinks.


I like to compare them to the Leafs, always teasing the fans, but not winning anything for a long, long time.

That guy bottom left of the picture looks like he's in the wrong sport. Youd think with the money they make he could afford to buy some teeth???


As for England being a good team or not. There i no questioning Rooney or Beckam as amazing soccer players....but like it was said, its been a while since they've won anything...the leafs of Soccer really. Only i dont hate them. Portugal is my team though. Cant beat Figo and Ronaldo!!

That, my young friend just happens to be Nobby Stiles, Manchester born and bread. He also happens to be one of just two Englishmen who have won both the world cup and the european champions cup. The other of course being Bobby Charlton, the balding gent on the extreme right of the picture. As for the smell, or lack thereof of the English game, every true fan knows that they don't support any given team due to how "good" football they play. They may be a crap team, but they're our crap team. God, I'm sick of those arrogant Brazilian, Dutch ,Portugese, etc b******.and their either you play our style of football or you're a complete idiot who doesn't deserve to compete with the likes of us. Not to mention their incessant diving, feigning injury, whining to the refs, etc, etc...I'll take the stink of the English game any day of week...It's easy to play"good" football when you live in a country with 350 days of sun a year, when I was a kid we played on ice and parking lots most of the year, for Gods sake. It may not be good for honing your skills, but it teaches you the value of good old hard work and getting bloody stuck in as the English would say.(Sorry if I offended anybody, but God that felt good)

I have to add the Germans and French to my Football hate list. The way the Germans play makes you wonder if they think they're on a board 30 feet above a pool (incessant diving), and the French just always think they're a better team than they are (just remove Henry before they all get injured, please)

On the Brazilian front, it also helps when you refuse to properly educate or care for over half your children, even though your economy is doing better every year. Leave 40 milllion kids to their own devices and you're bound to get a great football team out of it, as well as leagues of world-class pickpockets.

And what's with the "No last name" nonsense?

But then again, their former colonial masters, the Portuguese, play one of the dirtiest games on the planet, making Justin Williams loook like a Lady Byng winner.

My heritage is half italian-half portugeese so i cheer equally for both, although being born here i would go for canada if we ever got into the world cup.

This heat scares me a little today as i think that Ghana may be better prepared for it than Italy.... but i am confident the Azzuri will pull through.

I would also like to state for the record that I am not one of those portugeese who pull for Brazil after Portugal is eliminated. I would never do that.

I had an argument about it with my dad once and he got mad at me

Me: Dad why do you cheer for Brazil after Portugal is out??
Dad: Because they used to be a portugeese colony.
Me: Okay, but if Canada played portugal who would you cheer for??
Dad: Canada of course, this is where i have choosen to live my life despite that i was born in Portugal.
Me: Okay so why wouldn't you cheer for France or England as Canada is a former colony of both these nations over Brazil
Dad: GET OUT; THAT IS JUST CRAZY TALK!!!!

Personaly I choose which team's style i like the best after Canada, Italy and Portugal are all gone and go with them. Hopefully this is the year for an Italian-Portugeese final though.

Nope...a cross between Newman from Seinfeld and the Comic book guy from the Simpson's and when he get's frustrated...his face turns into Ceril Snear( that stupid CBC cartoon from years ago).
