This is a habs board....hockey board...and so on...but i couldnt help but ask... For those of us who are all around SPORT fans... Im curious to see if hab fans have the same minds when i comes to other sports. So here i go NHL im obviously HABS 100% then MLB im a Jays Fan NBA- Raptors fan NFL- Colts Fan CFL- Alouettes Fan  World Cup Soccer - Portugal fan PGA- Tiger Woods fan and a close Mike Weir for 2nd Tennis i was a agassi but i am now federer now that andre is gone... and yeah...if ive missed a sport, let me know, im sure i have a team for that sport too...as long as it isnt some sport most people would laugh at....( rock paper scissors championship...actually EXISTS!!! )

My teams for those sports are : NHL = Montreal (and Colorado, I know.....), MLB = Atlanta Braves, I've always loved them and wish to see another Braves - Yankees World Series. NBA = Sacramento Kings, but they've traded like everyone. NFL = New England Patriots, dates back to the Drew Bledsoe days. CFL = GO ALS GO!!! I love my Alouettes.
World Cup = Portugal. Can't stand golf so I'll go with the Canadian Weir. And tennis mine use to be Agassi too.

I don't know about you guys who actually are from Montreal like me. I miss our EXPOS, I miss going to see the games at the "Big O"........ Damn......

I seem to like a few of the same teams as Johab. For the sports where I follow more than one team, my favorite team is listed first, followed by my 2nd favorite (and for hockey, 3rd favorite).

Hockey: Montreal, Colorado, Los Angeles

Baseball: Toronto, LA Dodgers

Baseketball: Toronto, LA Lakers

NFL: Minnesota, New England

CFL: Toronto



Notice a bit of a pattern? I seem to think that way for most sports. But the rest I hardly care about. I don't even watch the CFL at all, but Toronto's my home city, so they've gotta be my favorite since I know nothing about any team. Any other sport, I could care less.

 Baseball- the Montreal Expos, but I still follow the Washington Nationals but miss having the Expos


 Basketball- Lakers, NFL- St.Louis Rams, CFL - Ottawa Renegades (so much for that) and Soccer - Who else but CANADA, yes I know they're not a power house, but its the best country in the world!  Some day maybe they'll make it to the world cup. I think they made it in 86' but i could be wrong.

Hockey = Canadiens - Red Wings (& Bulldogs for AHL)


Baseball = Jays - Yankees


Football = Steelers - Eagles (NFL only, I don't follow CFL)


Lacrosse = Rock - Bandits

You really had me wondering there for a second brook. But yeah, those cant be real people


As for Wrestling i saw that come up...and personally i dont consider it a sport...they are athletes...but i dont think sports are scripted...therefore Wrestling is entertainment....and ever since Stone Cold has retired, kurt angle went bald, lita got a boob job and the Rock became an actor...i've stopped watching

Me too! 


but I'd also include the loss of Bret Hart to the wrestling world....... once Owen died.... it all pretty much went downhill for me.

Hockey: Montreal, then Pittsburgh (even before Sidney)

Baseball: Never was a big Blue Jays fan (can't make myself root for a TO team).  Used to be an Expos fan until they became a feeder team for the rest of the major leagues (Hill, Grudzelanek, Grissom, Alou, Martinez, etc. etc. etc.............).  I have always liked the Red Sox.


Baseketball: Saint Mary's Huskies (I haven't been interested since I graduated back in 1978)

NFL: Steelers, but I don't really care


CFL: What's that league?


Golf: Lorie Kane, Mike Weir


Tennis:  Borg my all-time favourite (his battles with McEnroe were something else!); Arthur Ashe was Mr. Class; always liked Navratilova's game.


I guess I'm not a huge sports fan except for the Habs.............

ECHL - Long Beach Ice Dogs


QMJHL - Moncton Wildcats


OHL - Kitchiner Rangers


 


MLB - Don't follow it because the Expos are gone, but if i had to pick a team it would be The Tampa Bay Devil Rays


NFL - I only watched one superbowl, it was last year because there was no hockey, during the superbowl i'm usually driving back home from Montreal after the two afternoon games Sat, and Sun. But if i had to pick a team, The Bucs
