What is everyone's take on him? I love his PP work, physicality, and leadership, but am concerned about his zone work and decision making. Can he survive as a top-four in a faster NHL? Can he make the adjustments so he doesn't become the Pylon Highlight of the Night?

Well since Gainey just saw fit to re-sign Mark Streit for 2 more years I really do not see what choice we have but to hope that Souray can get his act together.

Off topic kinda of....Souray left for LA today, got him to sign something for a friend. Also saw Shayne Corson today, I actually almost got in trouble with him, I was being "too nice" to his girlfriend for his liking, when I didn't even know it was his GF

I hope Souray is here to stay. Unlike many members of the Habs D corps, he has a lot of good attributes. He definitely needs to work on his play in the zone, and especially in front of the net, but that's do-able I think. This year was a strange one I think for a lot of defensemen as they trried to get used to the new rules. Adapting to a game without clutching, grabbing, hooking and holding takes some time. Souray is an asset IMHO.

Ya I hope he stays too. He will give us good games. He is our powerplay.... He isn't afraid to shoot the puck like anyone else except for kovy and Ryder. Like Markov for example averages just over a shot per game... I also love his intensity, the opposing players fear him I think haha.
