Why on Earth does Bob not pull-off the old "sign and trade".

He has AT LEAST Zeddy, Buly's rights and Danis to package. Why not call Tampa (or some other team with a surplus of centre's) and make a deal???

IF Bob trades a goalie it will be Aeby, Tampa would not want another young goalie who may or may not be ready for a starter position right away and Bulis' rights hold no trade value because its no secret he wants to test the free market so he can take the most money.

the way i see it and-o is we have zeds ,ribs, aebs to package together , sunny is gone , so to is bulis in a couple of weeks, the d will stay the same except for streit ,i dont know what we will get for those 3 but it will be addition by subtraction , and give us a spot for kots,chips or lats to earn a spot , my money is on kots. then we will sign a legit center for 1 or 1a depending how you feel about koivu(lol) and either sign a d if we dont get 1 from the trade . i feel we will add 2 players a "d" and a forward ,1 for around 5mil the other we will pick up for the people we dont need .

Im not a fan of the ride 2 goalie strategie....never works. 1 goalie, and one to take 15-20 games not 41/41. Really, TRADE Abby...there are desperate teams out there!!!

Exactly, Danis can prove to be a good backup next year and gain experience. Aebischer is a number 1 goalie and trust me he won't want to play in Montreal as a number 2. He's a winner also, a great competitor who wants to play all the time and might I add has a stanley cup ring. I don't mind seeing Abby go even though I like him, he deserves a number 1 spot, he'd be great for Tampa.
