1) New York/San Francisco Giants
2) Winnipeg/New York Jets
3) Florida/Carolina Panthers
4) Colorado/Colorado Rockies (hockey/basebell)
5) Los Angeles/Sacramento Kings
6) New York/Texas Rangers
7) St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals

This was a tough challenge, but I was determined to do it. Great idea, Brook!

I've got another one:

Washington/Ottawa Senators

But regarding ones that I might kick myself over, you can't count teams that have moved cities and kept the same name, can you? Such as the Calgary/Atlanta Flames, or the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers.

Other than the Senators, I'm pretty much stumped it would seem.

Well, the AHL is professional, so you have:


Boston/Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves


Providence/Cincinnatti Reds


Syracuse/Kansas City Chiefs


........... and I'm sure a host of others.  But I guess Brooky meant "major-league" sports teams.
