Chelios is on the verge of signing a one year contract with the Wings...
Next season will be his 23rd in the NHL and on January 07, he turns 45 years old. Huh? 45? In addition, did you all know that he was a "+22" last season? He must be on Sudafed...lol
Talk about playing for the love of the game, he earned 850 000$USD last season. Can you imagine if Stevie Y comes back for another season too? The young players on that team will just have to look around the dressing room to get motivated.
You can't even compare Julio Franco to Chelios...Franco swings a bat 4 times a night and Cheli is out there physically battling every night. Baseball players are the most overated athletes, hence why these guys can balloon out and basically be out of shape for their career. The DH is the lasiest position on sports.
Ironman = Mark Recchi

Haha I totally agree with you I was just going on a age base factor. But you're wrong about Julio Franco, he is one of the fittest baseball players.
And it is Colorado defenseman Karlis Skrastins with like 350+ consecutive games played. Recchi use to be the NHL's ironman. Oh when I said current I meant active one lol because I know Recchi had a longggggggg one.

I always though John Franco would have been the oldest met ever
Habs and Avs i knew that answer you should have left it blank for longer. Oh well. Here's a question which single player played the most games this season and how many
