interesting coincidence or curse?

This may be of little comfort at the present moment but Habs fans will justice and Hurricane fans will face redemption in the future years to come. What I am refering to is the curse for any team that beat the Habs in a playoff series. That team has either not made it past the first round of proceeding year's playoffs or not made the playoffs at all in the next year. So Carolina better cherish this moment because things may look bad in the future.

does this fact actually go past the carolina series from 2002??? Where is it you heard of this?

Nah it goes far back....... I also recall Boston being screwed by this curse in the early 90s when they eliminated us a few times.
