Thank you sooo much Mrs. Hab.... Aren't you the sweetest thing?

I give Johab & Nil d the credit, they kicked it off with their meeting/posting, I thought.... why not us too? Also, there was so much talk about our "GoHabs family" lately that it just made good sense to start an album. I'm stoked that it got such a great response. It's a lot of fun putting the faces to the names. (Or lack there of .... eh And-o??? ... we're still waiting on yours LOL)

The good news is... you don't have to post just once. As you get new pictures, or find ones you like.... etc. Post 'em on there. Saku11 has the right idea, his triggered a little jealousy on my part though. LOL

There was also another reason behind my motives.....There had been sooo much fighting on here as of late. I figured that if posters knew who they were talking too (you know.... put a face to the name) they might be more sympathetic / caring in their responses to some posts.

It might help with the name calling or in the way certain things are taken if they knew who it was from, right?
i.e.... if a poster sent the phrase, "you kids make me laugh" when replying to a fight going on between 2 other posters.... it might be taken as a slam at their maturity level they've shown, which will start a feud between those 2 & the person who said it.
But..... if you knew that the poster who said that was 70 years old & a jokester, you'd take it as a giggle from an older member, because to him..... those posters are young. LOL

Thanks to everyone who added to the album.... we have a great lookin' bunch here The response to that post shows why this is the best Habs board (or Hockey board) on the web today. This family kicks butt!!!

Yes, that would be helpful....but on the other hand....I don't post much because when I do I rarely get much of a response.  It gets kind of discouraging after awhile.  So I tend to sit back and read only.

To pull up any past thread.... click on the "Search" bar at the top of your screen... type in key words (i.e. family album) & kablammmo...... you have the thread you are lookin' for.

Hey MC:  When the Board was pretty dead (in terms of activity) in the summer of 2004, it was Johab who kept on coming up with threads and fun stuff to keep it going.  I feel you'll be that person this summer!  (No pressure, though. )

This is a great Board, and it's fun people like you, Mrs. Hab, Habgirl and Johab that makes it so.  As for women, we certainly could use more!  There were a couple of new ones in the past year (Zulrath's friend Suzette and Girls Gone Habs), but we haven't heard from Suzette since, and GGH posts infrequently (although we saw a nice picture this week).

I plan to be here all summer, although my posting frequency slows down once the season is over.  (Also, I hope to be starting a job soon.  Fingers crossed! )
