will Latendresse crack the lineup ? , if he is as good as or exceeds last year performance , how can they send him back to the "Q" , he can't go to Hamilton , he's too young
Didn't the same thing happen to Ribeiro? And Ribeiro credits the media for helping him crack the line-up (which was easier back then because Andre Savard was running the show).
From what I've heard, he might be another head case. That's all we need. It's not like we have enough of them already. I hope the one's that have been saying this are wrong.
Im pulling for Chipchura next season. This guy is awesome, tons of heart and knows how to play a good solid game ( Captained the Junior Canadian Team ) Besides him, id like to see Kostitsyn make the line up next year. It isnt Latendresses time yet...

The difference between Latendresse and Ribeiro is that one has heart, strength and other body parts while the other doesn't.
I'm for bringing Latendresse, Chipchura AND Kostsitsyn in. Let's make this a generation. [Ryder, Komi, Pleks, Higgins, Perezhogin, and the 3 guys named above...plus Lapierre, Price and Yemelin pretty soon. Throw in a couple of key veterans and we have the makings of a team!] They can bring Ribeiro along as the mascot.

He's a nice guy, I've refereed him for awhile, and he grew up 10 houses away from me.
I don't think he's ready yet (contrary) to what Bergeron thinks. He rode the pine during the World Juniors so that says something about his work habits and maturity.

Chipcura needs another year for sure! I saw him in the AHL and he is too slow as of now. One day but not this year.

I bet his speed will be back in training camp. It takes 2 years to fully recover from the injury he sustained in late 2004. By September 2006 he will be flying like he was before the devastating leg injury. If anything this last season has taught him to play the game at a slower speed, so once he ramps it up again, he should be an even better player.
