OK guys.

It is 8:49pm eastern time, a bit over an hour till gametime. I'm calling it guys Colorado in 7!!! Big game from Theo tonight, Sakic and Liles. I may sound like a complete whack job but Colorado has the offense and the goaltending to win 4 straight. GO AVS. Btw if they lose and our swept, Me=

Lol funny story today at school I had on my Kariya 3rd jersey for the Avs. And I got so many rude comments haha, Like someone said, *cough cough Ducks up 3-0 cough* and also heard Kariya to Montreal and I heard some guys laughing at me going QUACK QUACK QUACK, haha.

They have the offense but I find their goaltending offensive. Theo couldn't help us win and he won't help the Avs. Sorry that you 2 fav teams are both gone.

Theo fan or not, there is no denying that Theo has had a very good post season. Hes has kept Colorado in EVER game...but after actually viewing him from unbiased eyes i do see the very weak goals and also he does have a tendancy to go down too early. Not ALL the time...but enough that its noticable. Either way... GO EDMONTON!!!...and for my pools sake....GO OTTAWA!!!

Well guys I'm really hurt now ........ I guess the key was Anaheim's intensity, speed and Colorado had a streak of about 0-40 on the pp

I see huge changes going to be made in Colorado, man I'm hurting now both my teams done. Can't believe a sweep to a franchise like Colorado.

As for Theo's playoff preformance, I think the 16 & 2 lifetime second round stat speaks for itself.  I hear he played well, and the team fell apart, what a difference from when he was with us, we played well, but would be down 4 goals before the ref dropped the puck.  Sorry for you loss Habs & Avs.  Who you cheering for now?

Well I'm going for Ottawa and the comeback because they're Canadian. But I'd like to see Anaheim vs Buffalo in the Cup Finals and then Buffalo taking it. You ?

Like I said when Carolina beat our habs..sometimes ya just have to bite the bullet and admit that you lost to a better team..and Anaheim was the better team. I think you will see some changes in Colofrado next season as they try and reload and get a bit younger. I think the years ar etaking their toll on Sakic (by the way, is their a classier player in the NHL than Joe Sakic? I think not. If you are looking for a role model for kids it would be this guy). Positive is that Theo seems to be finding himself again and that can only be goo dnews for teh Avs. Good for him!

Barry, there may be one.  Steve Yzerman.  These 2 are in a class all thier own.  It will be great when they join other guys with character like the Moose in the hall of fame.

Amen. As a coach all these years you PRAY for guys to be role models because there are so many idiots in the NHL who, once they get the big bucks, could care less about the young lives they influence or where they got their start. Stevey Y and Sakic (and Captain K for that matter) are in a class by themselves and for that I thank them.

No Cup if Breezyby keeps making those nice passes up the middle.  Shades of his Montreal days.  I swear I had to look twice to see if he was wearing a Hab jersey.

Ya you can always identify a great captain/leader/player by how long they've been captains and on the same team : Lemieux/Sakic/Yzerman.

Funny you should ask.  I was testing a new avatar, and it worked, thanks mainly to your instructions re: Photobucket.  I don't know who this little girl is, but I think the picture is funny as heck.

MC Girl, I've been following GoHabs all year, and I must say that you have been the most welcome addition.  The "Rookie of the Year" in my book.

Carbo was the man as a player, and he'll now be the man as the coach.  With some fine tuning by BG this team should take a giant step forward next year.  No excuses, no regrets.  Get healthy over the summer, get a big pivot man for the first or second line (assuming one is available), re-sign Huet, and like Jackie Gleason always said.....and away we go!!!!

I'm so stoked for next season.

I think Carbo will add the exact amount of passion we need behind the bench & in the room.

I'm guessing Huet is here to stay. He's on the intro to the Habs website again (along with Koivu & Kovy)
