Anybody watching Car/NJ?

The Devils are getting schooled. Holy Cow!!! 4-0 with a minute and a half left in the 2nd. Some aggressive hockey here.

If you aren't watching... you may want to turn on the game

You know what the Hurricanes are doing, AGAIN?
CRASHING THE GOALIE.

Hey, I got nothing against going to the net, but the Hurricanes go too far with interfering with the goalie. I still think the Hurricanes use a lot more cheap stuff than most teams out there, so I hope they go DOWN. I don't think it's going to happen though. Lack of size coming back to haunt the Devils right now.

At least Huet managed to keep them to 2 goals a game.

When I first looked at this thread title, I though it said "Anybody washing car in NJ...

but I guess it's not far from the bath the Devils took

I always stupidly feel better when the team that beat us did well...

How many of you even knew the name of the Devils' backup goalie?  (I had no idea; but I see it's some guy named Clemmensen.  Talk about your apare parts!  He got a few minutes in. )

Even the Beezer didn't get much time behind Marty....

and don't forget

Corey Schwab
Jean-Francois Damphousse
Mike Dunham
and of course, the man who used to be number 1, (the extremely good natured) Chris Terreri

Anyone remember Chico playing for them?

Thats exactly what i said. Seriously, people should start crashing into Ward, see how much carolina likes it. I seriously wouldn't tolerate it if I was a coach.

Yep...I thought all 6 goals should have been waved d/t g-t interference...pathetic officiating!

I remeber Chico playing with the Devils, he was always one of my favorites...I don't think his numbers with the Devils were anything like his Isles numbers

(to Storm Smug)

It's not that the Hurricanes didn't deserve to win. They dominated most aspects of the game. But they have taken note that referees have been soft on goalie interference all year, and are taking advantage. It's smart, but it's still cheap, and I hope they don't win because of it. It's not that it always directly causes goals. Mostly it's that it throws the goalie off his game.

Anyone see the goals Carolina scores?   Is it me or are they all garbage/plummer goals?  Lots of bank-in's and flukes too.  Either they are lucky as hell or they are just good enough to get that many breaks.

I haven't seen them score one pretty goal in the playoffs yet.

Didn't Sean Burke back up for Brodeur as well?
