As good as the Hurricanes are, they can’t beat the Canadiens 5-on-5!   In fact, if the Habs could rope in the Carolina PP (and get their PP going again)…the tide would turn!!!   Since the Hurc’s PP often uses 5 forwards, why not have one of the weak side forwards take-off for a stretch pass when they see their d-man win the puck down low???  One shorty would kill the Hurricanes PP, especially in Montreal!  Also, the Hurc’s are just collapsing around their goalie…the Habs have all kinds of time to get the right shot from the perimeter…but they need to start taking an open lane to the net for rebounds and tip-ins.  Plus, just have a look at how every single Cane stops skating when they collapse…this needs to be exploited!!!
