Gainey is a smart man. So to is Carbo. And so to is Jarvis.
So after the first 4 PP, they must have saw what we all saw, which was a disgrace. Why not put Begin up front to battle the puck in the corner, a guy who can win a battle to get the puck to the D or behind the net so we could set up the PP. OR here's an idea - Mr. Dandenault - put him up front. Nobody will beat him in the corner to get the puck. He's physical. He's big. So after he wins the battle for the puck and we get control, he can go park his rearend in Cam Wards face.

Our special teams not special at all this night. Our PP sucked! Probably five shots from all PPs...terrible.
An effective PP is usually a result of talent, puck movement and getting shots through onto the net....we just don't have that kind of roster other than Kovy.
But AB, we were one of the better PPs in the league this year. We obviously have the tools. It's a matter of putting it all back together. [Koivu was important, with his 22 power play assists, but still....]
