What is it with the Oilers and the first round upsets? Hoping I don't jinx anything, but how satisfying is it to see the aging boys from "Hockeytown" going down to the $1.50 team from Alberta?

I thought this series would be a barnburner but didnt think Oilers goaltending would be this solid....but that really was the ingredient they were missing from getting past Detroit....

Also I don't like small goalies much in the new NHL I dont think goalies like Legacy and Theo are big enough to make the saves needed of them...and this isnt the 90s when teams could have average goaltending and get past the first round with ease...especially when you consider the talent gap has closed significantly betweeen the 8s and the 1s.

Most of me hopes they win, but a bit of me wants Detroit to take it since I have a few Wings in my pool...

NOT MY POOL!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!  Majority of EVERY pool i made had Detroit and Ottawa picked as the 2 final teams. I love the oilers, but what did i do to deserve this!!?!?!?! NOOOOO

Scarier then that is it is quite possible that Edmonton and Calgary would meet in the next round...How wild would that series be?!??
