Fact is this guy and Ward were the difference last night. He went to the net hard and was relentless. Whether it was within the rules or not, he competed to the top of his game.
We need someone on our side to take the bull by the horn and make a difference like that. It has to be Kovy at this stage of the series. He is paid for these big games and now he has to deliver.
I think it's time for Gainey to throw Kostitsyn in there with Kovy and Perez. Mix things up...add new life...get kovy excited and interested. It can't hurt because that line was so ineffective last night. I would get Kovy to take the draws. I bet he would win his share. Sounds crazy but it may work to fire up kovy and put the load and responsiblity on him to carry the line.
Actually, disregard the last paragraph. Sounds too crazy!

I don't know, he looks harder than he's ever looked, and I think he wants that cup more than anyone I've seen in the playoffs with the possible exception of Pronger.
he needs that bonus 100 000 for that face transplant. There are 2 facts in life. HAbs are the greatest team ever. And Brind'amour is one UGLY mother.....shut your mouth

Sure wish he was a Hab...
Ya Brindy is one of the most fit/muscular guys in the NHL. And he has tremendous endurance still. I've always liked him, great player.
