Koivu Prayers Thread
Permalink Closed

Let's all get on the Saks bandwagon here and put our prayers and best wishes in this thread. Personal differences aside, there is no denying what #11 has given to this team over the years. He has overcome much worse than this and persevered and has been a personal inspiration to me. Saks..my thoughts and prayers are with you. Whether you come back and play hockey this year is not relevant. I pray for your eyesight to be ok. Get better captain.

Koivu's a tough B...he'll be back. He's gone through much worse only to surprise us all. I think he has another surprise left in him for us...

If anyone can get through a tough time, it's Saks. We'll see him sooner than you think! All positivity to the man from Finland!

Great pic Brooky. I have that one in my office. Everytime I feel like whining about a bad day at work I look at that. Defines perspective.

You know what? You're a class act Barry33. If ever you're in town and we all get together, the drinks are on me.

Hey Key Lime- I LOVE this team and I LOVE Captain K. I know that sometimes my critique of him is taken as dislike. Not the case. I expect alot of this guy and I know he expects alot of himself. I do not play any favorites (since CJ left lol) and I am hopeful that everyone at least sees that.

That picture gives me the chills, Brooky!

Barry, this new "lover" man side of yours shows that you're all heart.  But we knew that was the real you anyhow, you big lug.

Of course, my prayers are with Saku and his family today.  The game is just a game.

Great thread, Barry. I totally agree. The first thing that crossed my mind when he was hit wasn't hockey. I just want him to be ok. That's much more important than a game, so here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

Larry, my feelings too.  Get well soon Saku.  We need you back as our Habs go to the next round.
