Hey did anyone else see that hit from Connelly on Umberger last night? I also thought it was pretty tasteless that the Buffalo guys showed it on replay on the big screen.

It reminded me why I hate the sabres...ever since that punk Barnaby scored a hat trick against the habs I've hated the sabres. I just don't like the fans either.

But it was a good clean hit though...wow.

Their fans ARE awful!!!! & I agree, why show it on the big screen? No taste or class there!

Barnaby started my hatred for the Sabres too, the diving punk!!! That & we see all the hab games @ HSBC, can't root for a team that is playin' the Habs

They do treat their fans well & Sabretooth is a cool mascot

The hitter was Brian Campbell #51

Ya tactical error for sure showing it on the big screen. But wow, what a hit...shades of Stevens vs Lindros! How can Philly be thinking no concusion, did you see his face? Poor guy did'nt know what year it was or what country he was in let alone day and city!

Campbell. Thanks. I never knew who that guy was until last night. Was he a high draft pick? Looks like he knows how to time a hit. Not big...but mean.

Classless move by a classless team.

I like the Sabres. I go to several games there every year and I've always found their fans to be nothing but nice. Everytime I go there I have a great experience and the people have always been extremely friendly to me. So I for one like the Sabres and will continue to do so.

You have to drink about sixteen of them.

I thought the hit was very clean.  A great hit from a smallish player who apparently is not that physical.  The planets just aligned themselves for that one.  Umberger pretty much walked right into it.

I thought it was a mixed drink, 1/2 beer + 1/2 water.

16?!?! What are you three feet tall?

Back to the topic. Last time i was there (The Habs game) I was sitting beside a couple of Sabres fans and they were nice, had a nice chat but i have to say Thats not always the case. One time i was there and there was this idiot who kept screeming the most idiotic crap. He was pretty much screaming for blood.

When we went on Feb 9th. there were a bunch of drunken idiots (who knew little about hockey) sitting behind us, yelling & chanting the most ridiculous things.

For instance....  Instead of chanting HHHHUUUUEEEETTTTT, HHHHUUUUUEEEETTT, HHHHHUUUUUEEEEETTTTT to distract him..... they were chanting HUET!  HUET! HUET! The dummy's were cheering for him, not jinxing him.

Clueless

I do wear a jersey when I see a Habs game and nobody's ever bothered me. When I saw Ottawa play I didn't have a jersey on though. I do want to get a Buffalo shirt or something to wear while I cheer them on when they're not playing Montreal.

Oh the horror. Gotta say though, I think the sabres are the scariest team in the east. They play like a pack of wolves
