After setting the regular season attendance record, playoff tickets were sold out in 45 minutes yeterday...Imagine if we had a confirmed contender as a team?


Does anyone have this calm feeling like I do about the first round betwwen the Habs and the Canes? For the first time in 20 years, I didn't EXPECT them to make the playoffs. I was hoping they would and they did. Now, I just want the Habs to give their ALL, regardless of the outcome. I've always been a little of a sore loser since 93' but this year is different...and anything can happen in the post season.

 I agree Key Lime. I hate losing. I have a higher expectation than the prior couple playoffs. It's a huge hope for this team to take the next step.

I don't go into anything thinking that I would settle such and such a loss. I will be upset when we lose and happy when we win. but i don't say "I didn't expect to make the playoffs so I'm just happy to be here". I would if I was PIT or StL. But we are the Habs.

Not really what I meant Figaro...Before the season started I thought we would miss the playoffs. Just excited that we made it. Every year that we get eliminated in the post season, I'm a wreck and a sore loser! All I'm saying is that this year, I feel anything can happen...we could be eliminated quickly just like we can make the finals.

Funny how some people aren't satisfied with just making the playoffs, meanwhile other are happy just to be there.  I am definitely with the latter.  Before some of you get in my face about it, there is no right position, I was just making a statement.  BUT, for those that feel that making the playoffs isn't enough... 


How many Canadian teams have made the playoffs the last 3 seasons?

In the last 3 seasons...many more CAD teams have made the playoffs besides Ottawa & Montreal...I don't follow 24...
