Alrighty then, we're lucky to get Jim Hughson. He's easily the best of the CBC commentators. And Harry Neale is tolerable when we're not up against Toronto so I don't mind too much. But I'll be able to judge him better as the series progresses.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could turn back the clock and have Danny Gallivan and Dick Irvin do the play by play? In my estimation they were the best to ever do the play by play for our beloved Habs. Anyway...pardon my small moment of reminiscence and I'll have to watch it on CBC....it's my only option. GO HABS GO!!!!!
I really like Jim Hughson but weird to see him doing East games, I'm use to seeing him call Canucks/Flames/Oilers games... He's a good one though Neale is alright too. But I'm sticking to RDS since I'm half French and respect them too, that's our local channel for the Habs, why watch it anywhere else ??

Hey Peart, you might not have seen the post I made about ten days ago. I live about a mile from the old Halifax Forum, where a young Danny Gallivan made his broadcasting debut by calling the radio play-by-play of the junior Halifax Saint Mary's team, back in the 1940s. There's a big picture of him on their "history walls". I'm going there tomorrow for a skate.

Nil d, don't forget to salute Danny's pic. He was the best and I don't think we will ever have another that will come close in sports broadcasting.
