Although the team fell apart as a whole, Huet was not sharp. I put the blame right at the feet on Gainey who disrupted Huets great play to let Abby play a few. Now our goaltending is up in the air. I may be way off base But as a Habs fan I am totally pissed at this loss. I know we are going to post season, but this was not the was I invisioned it. I was hoping for a big win with HUET playing great.

Actually I blame it on the Expos leaving town and donating Youppi to the Habs.......his feet are bigger.

Huet's game confidence and groove he was in, was disrupted by Gainey at a crucial time of the season. Total lack of respect for the goalie that got us here. Now rather than having a number one and two...we may have two second string goalies going into the playoffs. The flip flopping proved nothing. I agree, to rest your goalie but not the last 4 out of 8 games.

Also, the way this game was lost, was sure not ending the season on a good note or starting the playoffs on a good note. In fact...Habs were totally out of tune.

On a positive note, Kovy stepped up but the rest of the core didn't follow. Plecs was our best centermen tonight. I'm confident that Kovy will be our best player in the playoffs but without help from the other core guys, we're done like dinner.

i agree huet didnt look sharp and i too attribute it to being taken out of his groove , he still played allright but fell apart at the end when he didnt get any help from the team . boulion on the elias goal , take the man , komi on the second gionta goal take the man and kovy on the langenbrunner goal get the puck through or atleast cover for the dman your trying to pass to . we folded the tent tonight and i believe it will cost huet the start in the playoffs .

I almost feel that BG set Huet up to fail..not playing him an dthen flinging him in against one of the hottest teams in the league...Crystal Ball did not have alot of hope for success. Now if Gainey decides to go with Abby, he will face less flack.

I think we're going to be alright, the boys played well as a team, they played a hot team on a streak, and came up with 3 goals on the #1 goalie in the league. Just a couple of misstakes cost them the game...But hey! we're going to the big dance,if abby is in the nets for the fist game and falters,it won't take Gainey long to pull him,as far as huet he should be use to that role (of backing up) he's been down that road with THE-ODOUR, I'd say Gainey knows who his main goalie is,you guys and girls know and   I know ,abby will be the bench warmer "GO HABS GO"
