They need to win two rounds to show they are improving as a team over the last few seasons.

Hopefully with a few key acquisitions in the off seasons, they can then build on that which would fall into Gainey 5/6 year plan.

if their play continues i won't even give them one win. Carolina will sweep them unless they get there act together. Here's my prediction if they win one against Carolina they will not lose the series.

Carolina wins 4-2. Habs fans savor both wins, agonize over the losses and look forward to next year.

You are easily the most negative human being I have ever seen.

Oh no, that is a tight tight race. No easy winner there. Lots of competition.

Exactly my prediction, Carolina is too strong..... Gotta be realistic. Only way we're winning is if Huet can pull off an '86 Patrick Roy..... Or if Gerber really stinks (inexperienced)

The only thing that will save the habs is strong goaltending and a 60MINUTE EFFORT!! Seriously though folks, how many times can we honestly say that the habs played a FULL 60 minutes all season?!?? That was their downfall last night against Jersey. Someone forgot to tell the players they had to come out for the 3rd period. Perhaps they will get that message against Carolina.

I say Canadiens in seven. Stranger things have happened, and besides, I want Markov and Kovy on my pool team...
