Well, Atlanta has loads of momentum and motivation on their side...while the Caps have home-ice and pride to play hard for!


And-o likes Oli Kolzig in net...and Ovechkin is chasing the 'Rocket Richard' trophy...so I really hope that they can rally their mates and beat Atlanta!


...although And-o would be a liar if he said he was not worried about the Thrashers!

I agree the main ingredient is  KOLZIG ... he is one of the top 5 goalie's in the league on a terrible team my oppinion

I don't know about that. You never know when Atlanta's luck is about to run out. And maybe they're overconfident about this game. All I know is I'm going to be watching and cheering loudly for the Caps.

Let's hope that this inter-division rivalry lights a huge fire under Washington. I'm sure that they would love to spoil Atlanta's chances.

Is it still Dunham in nets ??? If it isn't Lehtonen then they can win, why not, Washington has beaten good teams this year....... Hopefully Kolzig can perform for us, I'm crossing my fingers.

So Dunham has screwed up a whole lot in the past not recently I know but he's not a good solid goaltender. So Ovechkin should take his usual 10 shots and score about 4!

Well, Atlanta is up 1-0, 11 seconds in.................not a good start.


Then again, teams that score early quite often lose (at least that's my recollection).
