Before everyone gets carried away with the ( he's a band wagon jumper or naysayer), just remember, no fan on this board, wants to miss the playoffs. At least to me, that would be a sin. We still have a chance so no slandering anyone please. Actually to me, I don't get the, I'm not worried bit because Gainey is great or the so what if we don't make it bit...it's been a good ride. That to me, blows my mind or it could be over confidence but whatever the case, I will respect it.
Again, just a bunch of caring fans that want to make it...no one is giving up even though there's worry.
To me...a band wagon jumper or naysayer is one that doesn't want to make the playoffs.
There's a couple of posters that have given up and are pointing fingers. Last time I checked, we were in 7th with our destiny in our own hands...pretty good deal if you ask me.
I think the definition of a bandwagon jumper is somebody who cheers the team and wears the sweater and flys the flag when things are going well...then puts the sweater & flag away and tells you how much the team sucks when they're losing. These people WANT to make theplayoffs, but turn on the team like a rabid dog in bad times.
i believe im being called a bandwagon jumper here , well im not , but ill voice my opinion on any subject, good or bad , even if its not popular , i hope we make the playoffs , i dont think we will get in on our own merits , and i think boob royaly screwed up the goaltending situation, and its not ok to miss the playoffs , anyone who thinks so can go put on a leafs jersey ,see no jumping .
