The Habs should stop at nothing to get a win tonight. Winning tonight could create the perfect mind frame going into the playoffs...


Reasons:


• The obvious advantage of getting a W is the 1 point that assures a spot in the post season.


• Buffalo is notorious for sensing weakness in the other teams defense. When they smell the weakness, they put unstoppable pressure on the other team's D. The Habs are known for having a defense that doesn't deal well with constent pressure by oppossing offense. Keeping the shots and the goals at a minimum tonight and winning would give the team confidence that their defense can stop an Ottawa or a Carolina.


• Winning tonight would allow the Habs not to risk injury in the last game against NJ.


• Winning tonight and keeping the goals against at a minimum would mean not hearing about Buffalo's French Connection line the entire night. That would also help me by not getting that vomit feeling every time they mention how great that line is...


• A win would give the Habs 95 points...in my opinion that's a very good season with this lineup. A very good season. It would also guarantee them 7th spot. Sounds better to say 7th, rather than 8th. Lastly, a win would make the home crowd go absolutely crazy. Have you guys been to a game lately? The atmosphere is electric!

I'll be at the game tonight, taking my son for his 4th b'day, plus my 5 1/2yo old daughter and my wife. The habs must win, I don't want to swear in front of my kids. though they have been there when I hit my thumb with a hammer....
