lol. In a perfect world, sure. The only problem is, neither one of those men wants to play second fiddle to the other. They're both good enough to be #1 goalies, and realistically, you can only have one... for a whole season anyway, since Aebischer is a number 1 goalie. But a goalie of Luongo's class would not like to come into a situation where he's sharing his duties.

For a cup, I'd have to say "suck it up, it's the only way" We can just keep 'em guessing like Huet & Aebischer... who's the #1??? lol
I'm just being silly is all.... nothing to do on Good Friday... everything's closed. What else was I gonna do today but dream up the "perfect dream".
I agree with Jeddah, Luango would be the clear cut number one and that would relegate Huet to backup...hardly a fair reward for carrying the team for the past couple of months. Still...I like the image of Luango in a Habs uniform
Would be a dream, Luongo is WAY more proven than Huet, he's simply nuts in nets, facing 50 shots every night, see his save percentage every year! He's younger too and with a lot more experience. Probably the 3rd best goalie in the game besides Brodeur and Kippy.
As long as he doesn't go to Toronto like everyone in this city seems to think, I'm cool with it. But really, he should stay in Florida. They have an up and coming team that will be good soon. The only problem isMike Keenan.
There's nothing wrong with Mike Keenan. And there is no way Roberto will end up in Toronto, i think he'll stay in Florida, now that the Panthers signed Jokinen he will stay because Florida has a better future than Toronto and he says he wants to win. I can see him building a contender out of the Panthers and staying his entire career a la Martin Broudeur
It would be nice if he stayed. But how can you say there's nothing wrong with Keenan? Luongo hates him and everyone knows it. And it's not surprising. I remember Brett Hull hated him when he was in St. Louis. Really, the only thing that might keep him in Florida is that he's a RFA and not a UFA.

I thought he was unrestricted. As an RFA he is not going anywhere, imagine how many picks you would give up. Isn't it one 1st rounder per each $1 million?

I was around the Canada Cup team when Keenan was coaching many years ago (worked at an Airport they went through a lot, and we were autograph hounding), from my couple of times being around Keenan and from what people around the team told me, Keenan is an obnoxious, condecending jerk. People that bad rarely change IMHO.
