I see Bulis and Zednik each scored tonight. (Like someone said earlier, they should sit the whole team out, when you look at how they react when they're back in the lineup!)
Zednik was the best Hab forward in the last two games I saw (Ottawa, Buffallo). How was he tonight?
And Bulis?

Zednik was pretty good. I really like when he plays leftwing. He isn't as quick to go to one hand on his stick for going around the defense. Good forechecking. IMHO
Bulis' goal was really nice. A goal scorers' redirect. Other than that, I wasn't overly impressed. Again, IMHO

Zednik looked really strong on the puck tonight, and he was skating. That is when he is at his best, his feet were always moving. Bulis on the other hand needs to take some lessons on puck control from him. I didn't think Bulis was horrible or anything, I just think he needs to work on his strength.

Zednik had a very good game.
Bulis opened up a lot of space for Ribeiro and Kovalev by being so mobile. Bulis is really good with his off the puck movement. Kovalev's stellar second goal might not have happened if Bulis hadn't drawn away one of the two defensemen with his skating.

I saw that on the highlights this morning. That was an awesome pick that opened up the seam for Kovalev to cut inside and give himself a good angle to shoot. And he shot a laser beam, I might add!

I agree that Bulis is a great player without the puck. That is not something you can teach someone. His speed does help to open up room. I hope someone can teach this guy to be strong on the puck. Watch Zeds, Koviu, Higgins, and Kovalev. With the exception of Alexei none of these guys are big, or strong. I don't even know how you would go about teaching someone that. Is it like scoring goals? Either you get it or you don't?
