GAME: Montreal Canadiens (41-29-9) at Boston Bruins (29-35-16).


TIME: Thursday April 13, 7 p.m. EDT.

Here's to Aeby *\o/* we need your help here too....


For the most part....  I feel if we want to win this one we will have to play aggressively, get in front of the net more (ya just can't score from behind the net if no one is in front to finish the move) ease back on silly penalties, avoid constantly trying to look "pretty" just to give up the puck, avoid over passing (opposing teams are easily skating away with the puck lately because of many "poor passes") & lastly...... "take shots on goal!!!!!!!". Ya just can't win without scoring... if you aren't taking shots on goal, ya just can't win a game. Last nights shots on goal were pathetic through the first & second period..... one of the worst game I've seen all season.


Common' boys let's make it happen tonight, we're not in the playoffs yet.

I smell a win tonight and I'll tell you why. Last night the guys were uninspired. I can't see Gainey allowing them to play like that two nights in a row. And also, we've had Boston's number all year, so what better team to get back on track against?

I'm going to say we score early and end up winning 4-1. Aebischer is very solid again, but the one goal he does give up is kind of soft.

 I really hope Gainey tore them a new a-hole.  Last night was a sad game.  We also need to win this one, so I don't have to listen to Laff fans at work, who keep thinking they have a chance not only at the playoffs but at the Cup.  Thats right, the Buds fans at my work actually think if they get in they actually have a chance of winning it all.  Their philosphy is, if your in its a new ballgame and anybody can win.

I think we'll win tonight for the reason that Jedah mentions: Gainey won't put up with that kind of effort two nights in a row. But I gotta say I'm worried about tonight. The Bs have nothing to lose. We've beaten up on them all year so they'll want revenge. Thomas is a bona fide stud in goal -- and Abby, in my opinion, is not in the same category. Put that together with having to play a second game in two nights, a hostile Boston crowd, a stuck-in-first-gear power play, and a defensive corps that seems to have forgotten how to cover their zone, and there could be some spilled chowder out there tonight.

We really need this game and it would be just like Boston to make it hard for us. Here's hoping the boys play patient hockey, stay out of the box, and get that power play working again. The desperation we saw in the third period last night was good because it showed the team cares, but it wasn't effective. We need a smarter effort tonight.

I hear many dumb Laffs fans that say the same thing but instead of attacking them i just laugh. And i always find a way to bring up how the Leafs won't make it in class. Like we were talking about Bias in the media, and by the end of it some Laffs fans wanted to kill me others were in tears.

Mario, Is there a game missing here. I thought tonight was game 8, but I see only 6 listed. Bostons season finale and they want it bad. I hope the habs can shut down Boyes, Bergeron and Sturm  Go Habs Go

 A much better fourth line presense without shadow boxer in the lineup. I still miss Begin though.


 Ribs line playing well.


 Plecs gets an assist on Zeds goal. Much needed point from both guys.


 AB is liking it so far.

4-2 against a truly awful team. The Bruins D is among the worst I've ever seen with their giveaways. Aebischer, while improving is still an adventure on every shot. Hang on boys, I really don't like the looks of this game, I hope they can hang on.
