I'm a big fan of his and trust that if he can get his confidence back he will be a huge asset in the play-offs. He's never quit but he's got a confidence problem - he's Secretariat until he gets within 5 feet of the net and then he turns into Mr. Ed - you can just sense his indecisiveness when he gets within sniffing distance of the net "pass?... shoot?....pass?...shoot?"
P.S. If the linesmen hadn't of gotten in between them Smo-the Missing-Linksi would have gotten the surprise of his life!!
I thought he was a dominant force last night; the Habs' best forward. If he keeps playing with passion like that, pumping the legs full time and mixing it up along the boards, he'll be a leader in the playoffs. It was great to see him score - the game winner too!
That was the old Zednik we had not seen in many weeks.

Absolutely. I've seen Zed drop them a few times and he seems to be a pretty good scrapper and won the fights I've seen him in. Quick hands.
Zed is such a strong forechecker down deep and can also protect the puck well deep. Even when he isn't scoring, he creates room out there. I would like to see him back with Kovy and Ribs.
