With the Habs playing the way they are, it doesn't really matter who they play in the first round. As long as the Habs win at least one road game the palyoffs look bright. But having said that, if I have to make a selection of first round opponents I would like to see us face NYR. No real reason just that offence can turn stagnant faster than defence getting sloppy and if Jagr gets in a slump, they are just another team. NYR defence doesn't appear that impenetrable as Ottawa or Carolina.
