Well, spring and summer means horse show season is again upon me, and my weekends (and most weeknights, for that matter) are taken up bathing, braiding, grooming, picking, sweeping and trailering horses back and forth to shows. First major show is this Sunday - 4:30 a.m. comes way too early.
On an upside, my daughter is entering her first competitive season (having won enough points to start competing on a higher level - "A Circuit" is right around the corner! You may see her riding for Canada some day!
I'll be watching for everyone's posts in this exciting time for Les Boys! I may just be a little more silent than usual (And-O's probably doing a cartwheel right now!)
Now everyone behave - MC Girl and Mrs. Hab - keep these guys in line would ya?
Cheers all, and keep the faith. Things are looking up in Habland!

You had me all hot and bothered until I saw the word "horses" there (I can just imagine how Barry felt!).
Have fun, and please chip in off & on so we know you're still around.
Cheers!

Riding horses is such a joy, it must be great to be able to just jump on whenever you feel like it! Don't ride away too far though, we want you and your daughter to remain in typing or at least reading distance!

I know if there's a way for you to check things out here in Habland...you will...in the meantime...have fun....be safe...and good luck to your daughter. With a role model like you I am sure she will do really great.

Thanks Mario, how could I forget GirlsGoneHabs?? What's not to like about a woman who is a diehard??? LOL
Ladies and gents, it's been a slice - can't wait to see your posts as we foray into the 'offs. I'll be around - albeit exhausted and smelling of horse poo...
As an aside note - horse show politics are right up there with Fraser (oh god my hair) being in the show ring. Perhaps one of the horses that has run one of mine should be called Darcy?
