Point totals on last 8 games:
Higgins 8g 4a 1.5PPG
Koivu 3g 9a 1.5 PPG
Ryder 4g 6a 1.25 PPG

On top of that, Bulis has backed up his words with 2 goals in 2 games since coming back. Ribs and Kovy are starting to click. Dandenault has 4g in lat 10 games, I think, and if I remember right they were all him slipping in from the point unoticed and snapping it home. We've got goalies, spirit and morale seems high. After every goal, the boys look like they are really having fun. Not just enjoying it but actually having fun. When have things gone this well?

Was good to see Kovy break out of his 3 game mini slump too.  3 assists isnt so bad for a so called puck hog.

LOL really eh! He's our best player and people tend to still critize his "dancing around", well hey no one else can do it.

That is the funny thing about it.  When he dumps the puck early, people bitch that he is not generating offense, and when he carries it, the bitch he doesn't pass or holds it to long.

The real test will be the two games against NJ. Brodeur always plays us tough and we are 0-2 so far against them this season.

I am one of those that has been critical of Kovalev's holding on to the puck.  I have only been saying that sometimes he he seems to lose the puck more often than not.  He shows greating skating skills and amazing stickhandling abilties, I just wish he wouldn't try to do it all by himself, all of the time.  His three assists against Ottawa surely shows that he is more than capable of finding the open man (which I never said he couldn't do)

P.S.  Figaro, I love the new avatar, it makes me feel like getting my old Foreigner albums out.  (Johab - an album is a round piece of vinyl, about 12 inches across and very thin.  They were usually music recordings.  They were played on a piece of equipment called a record player. )

Johab has surely never heard of a "record player", and has likely never seen a cassette either.

You are probably right.  Johab, a record player is a giant, open CD player type of thing, slightly bigger than a DVD player.  It had a needle that was attached to an arm that rested on the album* (*see post above re:album) and turned the bumps on the album into music, the way a cd player turns 0's and 1's into music.

Hmm.  That's two threads today that I have somewhat changed the intended direction.  Appologies.
