is it just me or....

why do i keep hearing and reading that higgins is the first rookie to score 20 goals in a season since koivu did it 10 years ago.... wasnt ryder the runner up for rookie of the year in the last season? didnt he have 25 goals?    can anyone explain this to me?

I'm not sure where I read it...but I think the point TSN was trying to make is that Higgins is the first (1st rounder) to score 20 since Koivu was selected in the first round...I could be wrong though....
