maybe desire is creeping in.

Yesterday I read a clip about Dandenault being so upset after they lost the game to the Isles that he could not sleep that night. He really vented to the media about the terrible performance from the whole team. He could not understand the lack of desire on the team in such a monumental game. Maybe he spoke up in the dressing room and through embarrassment, some of the desire to win rubbed off on the others. It was sure nice to watch the Habs play a 60 min game for a change. Also the big thing was they stayed out of the sin bin for the most part.... kept the flow going from the bench.

Personally last night's game was worth the season for me....I dearly hate the Laffs, the Toronto media and all that goes with them. It is good to see another Canadian team rub it in their faces.

Let's hope it carries over to the next game as well...

This is a good post! Dandy has already experienced success in this league and I'm sure the guys respect him and his words are probably taken to heart. He may not be a top d-man on the ice but I'm sure the seldom time he speaks(because he's usually a quiet guy) the guys listen. If we make the playoffs, look for this guy to be one of our best defensemen. He is one of the players I haven't critisized because he was used as a half time forward in Detroit so this is an adjustment for him and he has improved and is gaining confidence every game.

i agree AB, dandenault has been gaining confidence and you can see it in his aggressive play of late....he can be huge in the playoffs because he knows what it is all about.

the guys have to, or should, show him some respect in the room simply because he has been where everyone else has not.  the whole team should of been ashamed of the horrible effort on tuesday night, not just dandenault.  its nice to hear that at least someone cared enough about the loss to address it not only to the team but to the public.  hopefully the team will build off the momentum last night and keep rolling until the playoffs.

win or lose, at least put in an effort!
