Finally law school applications complete and back from the much deserved vacation (a nice cruise down mexico, costa rica, and the panama canal).
Just got back from Panama, and what a game to watch for that first one back. After hearing all the leafs talk all day on my radio and tv (living in Hamilton it can get that way) I was so glad when we got up 2-0 real early and it just steamrolled from there. I'm pretty sure my neighbours know I am home too with all the screaming and yelling and booooo-yas everytime the habs scored.
Also i have a confession to make, the habs are still my favorite team of course, but do to circumstances in Panama, okay due to a girl i met in Panama, had to adopt the Canucks as a close second, so I was glad to be 2 for 2 last night.
As far as the Vacation goes, let me tell you guys ESPN absolutely sucks. 30 minutes of College Hoops every night, and you are lucky to get the hockey scores on the ticker. They barely even had trade deadline coverage, all i saw were the theo and samsonov trades and a little blurb about 40 or so other moves being available on ESPN.com. I have to say i was disappointed with the theo trade. Don't care that he was traded, just felt that you don't trade a former mvp/vezina winning goalie to the Avs. History is not on Montreal's side there. But Huet is playing great and hopefully one of Aebischer/Price/Danis becomes the goalie who can take over in a few years.
And no worries about the Canucks thing. I am a Habs fan from day one, but since moving out here to Vancouver Island, I have to admit cheering for those equally frustrating 'nuckleheads. That is, unless Montreal comes to town....
Hope the "Panama girl" works out for you! Good luck with law school apps.
