The Oilers and Canucks? Very intertaining! they went to a shoot out and five of six shooters scored some pretty goals.
I was thinking also that big Keith Cairney would of looked great in habs uniform rather than Simpson. That would of been a huge and much needed up-grade.
Hey AB - not too familiar with Carney. Do they play the same position and what makes Carney better in your eyes? (and you hate to see 2 good Canadian teams knock each other out of the playoffs...unless Toronto is one of them)-- Edited by Figaro at 13:22, 2006-03-24
Remember when the Ducks went to the finals with the Devils. Carney and Giguere were the key! In big games, Carney is as good as anyone on the league. As big, strong and leads like Souray. More solid defensively than Souray but doesn't have the slapper that Souray does.
The GM of Canucks (can't think of his name right now)- Called in a favour to Burke the ex-gm of the canucks to get Carney after all they did work together for a bunch of years and must still be friends even after Burke was let go by Van - The Ducks & Canucks could become frequent trading partners as Burke knows quite well what Van has in the minors etc. for future deals.......
