He'll get his $ and be in the roster next season. I can't really see them bringing a rookie with zero experience into the lineup this deep into the season.

Yeah that's great...maybe Gainey could bring Chipper up now so that Saku can show him everything he knows! What could go wrong with that plan that couldn't be fixed in 10 more years???

...seriously though, lets hope Chipper is everything we have been waiting for...And-o thinks that either him or Higgins are destined to lead the Habs of tomorrow!

Andy, is this similar to your predictions about Bonk being the Habs saviour and CJ being an idiot? I hope not because you were quite wrong on both those counts....

Has And-o ever been right? And-o either has nightmares about naked Finnish men... or something else is irritating him. I wonder what that could be?

By the way, I will be travelling to Quebec in a couple of weeks. I always love my trips there. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it to a habs game. No reason for mentioning this...

Yep, although And-o never once thought Bonk was the saviour!!! And-o had hoped for wayyyyy more offense from Bonk...but it was Gainey's call to make him exclusively a defensive centreman! Hey...Radek Bonk has played very a very respectable role on this team since Gainey took over!!!

I will tell ya one thing...as I said from day one...the Habs won the Garon trade hands down...thanks to the "garbage" add-in called Huet!!!

...and Bonk has been more useful than Koivu lately...that is how bad Saku's game has fallen off JohnM ~ no fool'in!!!

...CJ had to go...and And-o is wayyyyy over that! Gainey has a 'grace period' only because he is supposedly taking firsthand inventory of his assets/liabilities!

...and Mulsy has clearly suffered way too many bumps to the nogg'in!

I agree, these 2 guys will be a big part of our future. I really think the real future leader of this team is big #8. In a few more years he is going to be a total force in this league. Komi has showed signs of briliance, along with a lot of bad games too. But big d-men are hard to find, and take a long time to develope. Lets hope he is a Pronger in the making.
