Bob Gainey's style, in my opinion, has strayed from his earlier success. What happened to always advancing the puck?  What happened to a tenacious forecheck?  What happened to the forwards almost beating the d-men back to help the goalie?  What happened to sticking up for your mates? Also...And-o sees a growing lack of 'common sense' things...for example, no accountability for taking totally selfish penalties time-after-time.  No implications for guys simply not even getting a shot-on-goal during an odd-man rush.  Almost no sense of urgency!?  No passion!?  And, why can't this team ever just win a game from start to finish...no killer instinct whatsoever!!!?
