Just want to add that Gainey is trying so hard to come up with a first line by giving Saks all the ice and chances especially with almost every PP minute to find his game.
I think he needs to accept that our chances of winning may be better by sticking with the four line thing because we really don't have first line players. I like the four line balance thing better because than Plecs and Begin are on the ice more and they bring alot of energy and wear the other teams down a little. They're hard to play against.
Also with our PP, explain to me why Ribs is the guy standing in the crease and Ryder is on the half boards. Ribs did his thing but shouldn't the biggest guy on forward be in the crease and the playmaker on the half boards. Our PP really needs to be straightened out but do we have the coaching staff to help out in this area???If not for Souray and his blast, it would of been another embarassing night on our Powerless Play.
The other thing I noticed is the Canes dress 7 d men each game. It is working good for them. I wonder if we could try that (if we have 7 avail). This was theres an extra one if someone gets injured and then he can be used in a way that they can rest a little more

I am completely with you David. EVer since we got Dandenault I have said we should use him as a 3rd or 4th line forward (because he is a natural forward) and use 6 D, iwth him, 7. He is a great asset because of his versatility and I believe we are wasting him.
We can keep Dandy on the point, and send Strait packing, but put Simpson or Cote in there for a 7th Dman, cause i didn't see either Murray or Downey in the 3rd, so why not shorten on our offense and add to the D. Tonight our lines were different every shift anyways, and that shows a sign of frustration right there.
