Sorry to report a former 5th round draft choice of the Habs in 1995, Jonathan Delisle, was killed in a motor vehicle accident overnight while accompanied by two teamates Vermette,Frederick and Paradis,Carl. All three were players in the Quebec Senior League. Apparently vehicle they were in was hit by a heavy vehicle backing up on the Highway outside Quebec City.


Vermette, F. is apparently the brother of antoine Vermette-Ottawa Sens.


A sad day for all and my condolences to the Delisle Family. Vermette and Paradis are in serious condition.

Very sad news indeed.


Also, Red Storey died today - an NHL Hall of Famer and one of Canada's all-time greatest athletes.
