3 Playoff Spots for 6 Teams

Only 8 points seperates 6th to 11th place. It's going to be a dog fight until the end. Some teams may miss the playoffs by as little as 1 point. It's been a while since I've seen this happen.


If you look at Mtl's sked. It plays in their favor. There should be no excuses for the Habs NOT making the playoffs. Yes, once again we have to sit by our team and watch team struggle just to get into the playoffs. I'm not convinced that we won't be in the same situation in the next couple of years especially with a salary cap in place. Look at the NFL...


The Cardiac Canadiens will be around for another couple of years.

It sure would be nice to sit back comfortably and watch our team head into the playoffs without going through the final stages of each season clawing and scratching for points to secure 8th spot.  It has been a while since we clinched a spot early.

The only positive is that it makes every game seem like a playoff game. The Habs are like "The little train that could"...BUT I would rather be supporting a Habs team that "does" make it every year.

As we (and Laffs fans) have been saying for 10 years...just wait til NEXT year!

Well, it's been 13-14 years now. Habs fans can't handle that...not sure how they've done it for 40.
