First of all shout out to the C-town boys on the boards!

Now... like all of us I'm sure, I was very quick to praise Theo's heroics in playoffs gone by when it seemed like he single handedly thwarted the offensive advances of every first place team...  I hope we all agree (unless you're blind) he needed a change of scenery as he was obviously getting more ass time on his local bar stool then on the habs bench, which is no small achievment!!  Hopefully there aren't as many HA chapters in Colorado as there are in Montreal!?

The only question for me now is, who can we attract in the summer to fill this roomy salary void?

Oh, right.  I was thinking Hairgrowers Anonymous.

The one deal I wish they would have done before the deadline was to bring back John LeClair. I know alot of Habs fans don't hold a very high regard for him but I think he would have brought some size and scoring presence in front of the net which the team is sorely lacking now. Call me old fashioned but I still remember the 2 overtime goals he scored against the Kings back in 93....guess sometimes it's hard to let go of the past lol As for off season signings I haven't really looked the list of UFA's for this summer so thats something I will have to do. I still think that size in front of the net to complement Saks and Kovy is something the team really needs.

The only thing I don't like about that idea is when you said back in 93. That's 13 years ago...We need new blood...we tried it with Corson and Richer. Hab fans deserve better. You are right about John bringing us some size BUT out with the old please...right?

Yeah....you're right. I guess I was having a flashback to the good old days lol I have been looking at the Group 3 free agents and there is going to be alot of talent out there this summer unless teams start doing some signing. Hopefully Gainey and Gillette will open up the wallet and make a bit of a splash in the market. I know one other thing I would do also. There is a young player by the name of Latendresse that would be playing for the Habs right now if I was the GM. The kid has great hands and isn't afraid to mix it up either.
