Today is a mixed day of celebration/mourning in Montreal. Celebration on behalf of Boom Boom's banner being raised (although why they had to wait until he was sick to do it beats me) and deep mourning and sadness that he will not be here to see it (though I am sure he will be watching from Hockey Heaven).
My point is......again we are being subjected to another Toronto game. YUK!!!! If the game is not on French TV, I would rather listen to it on my computer than watch Toronto.
Godspeed, Boom Boom....you are joining an elite group already in Hockey Heaven.

I think the game is on RDS, Mrs. H. At least it's on in the East; I'll check the West for you/)

Just rechecked my TV Guide and will be able to watch it on CBFUT. Thanks Nil.

My wife, who hates hockey and has never heard of the Boomer, was asking me the same question just now. Seems to me they could have gone with the older guys first, and saved the young pups like Cournoyer for later.
I can't imagine the emotion that will go through the two Geoffrion boys and the daughter tonight - their poor dad having his number retired - and dying on the same day!
(I see Slobodan Milosevic died today too. You win some, you lose some...........)

Haven't had the news on today so didn't know about Milosevic. Won't be raising any banners for him, that's for sure.
