Now that the trading deadline is over and the season is winding to a close.  I think the habs should and are in a position to make some significant off season moves.  I do not think the Habs will re-sign either P. Dagenais or N. Sundstrum to name a few UFA.  Also I think they should dump both R. Bonk and M. Ribeiro and potentially R. Zednik (did not have a good year, but should look to rebound next year).  There are a number of UFA that the habs can go after, with the money they saved from J. Theodore and if they can dump some contracts.  Some players that are available are (T. Selanne, M Savard, JP Dumont, E Daze, Joe Sakic, N Lidstrom). Since Huet is an UFA there is a possibility that he will not re-sign the habs can look to sign the likes of C. OSgood or M. Legace (both are having good years in Detroit).

As for my comments on Jose Theodore. He is no P. Roy, Jose is unconsistant, never demonstrated ability at the next level (International, World's, Playoffs etc).  With the new nhl  a two goaltender system is a must.
