Saturday night, the Tampa Bay Lightning are in Toronto. If you want to see Montreal surpass TB for 7th, you have to root for Toronto to win. I don't know if I can do it...
Me neither...so i'll just hope that the Habs win and concentrate on them. If they keep winning, I don't have to depend on TO to win ever. Wow! just saying "depend on TO to win" makes me queezy!
I would prefer Tampa to win, because I don't want any of the teams chasing us to gain any ground. Plus I can't bring myself to cheer for Toronto unless it's a really critical situation.

The only move they made that I know of is aquiring Ken Klee from Toronto.
In Toronto - The big news is that Tie Domi got benched against the NYI last night and people are upset......If they had a brain they would have realized Domi should have been benched earlier but since he was approaching 1000 games played The Leafs let him have that (good PR) after all the Leafs are out of the playoffs with Domi in (4th Liner) and players better than him have been benched earlier this year......
I would never cheer for the maple laffs, but i hope TB loses!! The only way around it is that habs win and the other team( who ever they are and i don't want to know)beats tampa!! Does this count as not cheering for the laffs?
HERE'S something to put a chill down your sping, from the CBC website.
"Never mind making the playoffs. If the Toronto Maple Leafs play every game until the end of the season as they played Saturday night, they could win the Stanley Cup"

Who said that, Pat Quinn?

Hard to win the cup when you miss the playoffs though. Maybe next year!

Thanks, Lime. That worked for me and made for an enjoyable Saturday evening of watching hockey. At the end of the night, the Habs won and took over 7th spot in the standings. The end. Didn't even think of the Leafs.

How can you think of anything but the Habs when you have a Habs logo implanted in your brain?
I'll cheer for anyone who is playing against Toronto. As Habs fans, I think it is our duty to support anyone who can knock Toronto out of the play-offs.
Jason Allison - Hate him. This guy is sooooooooo bad. I don't understand how he gets any points? The guy can barely skate. Shave the beard already.
