I guess this is where the word "professional" comes into play. Interesting quote on the team 990 today by former Hab PJ Stock who said "It was apparent that the Habs had stopped playing in front of Theodore. They had also quit playing for Claude Julien. It is time they stop deciding who they will and will not play for and just go out and PLAY". AMEN!

I agree, most players admit that they go through this every year. They say that they are used to feeling that they may be traded at any moment but most are not used to seeing a teamate leave.

Believe me, the B's are feeling the nerves today as well.  Since the Thornton trade nobody feels safe and a lot of guys know they may be on the block.  Not to mention this is a must win game for them tonight.  I like the fact that the Habs got a day of rest back home and will be geared up for one last test on this road trip.  GO HABS GO

If the Habs win tonight it will have been a GREAT road trip of 4-1-1. Let's hope.

No not 4-1-1  4 and 2  I hate this shoot out business,  its a loss. Yes you get a point but its a loss.  So 4-2. I will take the 4 and 2  lets stop putting the shootout losses separate. Its a loss

Why not put the shootout losses separate, if they are worth a point?

Anyway, I don't like the point system either, but it does obviously make a big difference if you pull out the regulation tie. (still hoping to see the 3-2-1-0 point system they tried in one of the minors a few years ago)
