'Crystal Ball' gave...and gave...and gave...until he just couldn't give no more ~ nice to see the guys sink a few for him to salvage a point for a change though!!!

Higgins is just plain AWESOME!

Kovy is easily the best offensive player to wear a 'CH' since maybe Lafleur!!!

Bonk...YES BONK...is a horse on the PK...so is Begin!!!  And...And-o digs Rivet!!!

Markov needs to give his head a shake though...worst few games I can recall seeing him play have been this past week!!!

...I'd better stop right here for critiques though!

Yeah....Huet looked a bit spaced out for about a period there, but got back into it big time. I think the guy's tired. Wondering if it would be better to put Danis in tomorrow night.

Howdy, doodie.  (Someone had to say it.)

You're the second MacNeil from CB on this Board.  Any relation to Eric?  Where in CB are you?

I'm in Halifax, FYI.

This is so promising. The night that we all didn't want to see came true. We saw Huet give a mediocre performance. The guys played their best game of the season. Some might argue but it was surely up there. I can't say that there was 1 shift that an effort wasn't given. When was the last time we saw that. The team played for 60 minutes.

Not to take anything from Huey, but without the softies, we win that game easily. I turned it off (internet radio) after 4-2 (son was crying and ready for bed). I was pleasantly surprised to see the final, I tell you. I bet all the Laffs were up all night and had a fit when Souray made that goal (what a great play...guarantee you that early in a season he shoots that puck instead of deking the d out of his pants.)

Nice to see the team playing so well. Good goalie or hot scorers, we are still in the playoffs and not too far from putting TB in 8th. Then everyone can chase them.

Well the guy stole quite  afew games for his teamates so he deserves a Mulligan or 2. He looked tired last night. What I did like is that we finally got some pucks to the net!! We had over 30 shots. A virtual barrage if you are a hab.

At least we got 1 point last night, but Philly didn't deserve the win - we took it to them all game.  Huet let in a couple of soft ones and there were a couple of defensive lapses and that was it.

What is Ryder doing in the shootout?  That is the second time I have seen him blast a shot wide in a SO and as the last shooter.  You need a guy who can deke in these...why doesn't the Captain get a shot?

Best game of the year for Ribs - he was all over the ice.

Anyone else think Forsberg dove on that penalty?  He's been accused of diving many times before.

Is the bear catholic?

You saw the replay? Forsberg dove like the gamer he is. That guy is so tough to play against, he even makes you believe diving is just hard-as-nails competitiveness.

Savage, on the other hand. That was embarassing.

The only thing more embarassing then Savage's dive was the fact the ref took the easy way out by giving Montreal a hooking penalty. Why reward the guy? The sooner the NHL tells the refs to stop calling this infraction/dive double the better off the league will be.

Absolutely. They never would have called that so-called "slash" if Savage hadn't gone down.

Even worse, Savage had a huge smirk on his face after the whole thing, a sorta ...haha you caught me sort of thing. Im glad he did that as a flyer and not a hab, we all know how it felt when Ribiero won his Oscar for " Best On-screen Shooting...

I couldn't figure out whether that was a smirk or a look of embarassment. But he knew.
