I know, has nothing to do with hockey but....did anyone watch them last night and if so what did you think? I honestly only watched them this year because i am a big fan of Jon Stewart and i think he did really well last night. I loved the little skit at the beggining were they went through the last 5 hosts of the Oscars and they all were " too busy " Whoopi was the greatest. ---- *knock knock knock* Whoopi answers the door.... " Awww HELL NO"!!! closes the door... perfect Whoopi !!! And Ben Stillers green suit thing was hilarious!!

Mrs Hab and Habgirl must be sick of swimming in our drool!! You 2 are still our favs girls....but we're allowed to dream... Oh, and Who can forget Nicole Kidman!! http://a.oscar.abc.com/images/galleries/redcarpet/78th_KidmanN_02.jpg
No worries Johab - I think Mrs. Hab and I are equal in terms of the "dream" category - hey Di, did you happen to see George Clooney on the podium? Yummy!
Id still rather have seen return of Scarlet..... http://www.theadvertiser.news.com.au/common/imagedata/0,1658,5099280,00.jpg
I'm with you Johab...she just turned 21. She'll only get better looking, can you imagine? I can and I'm doing it right now...To add insult to injury, she's a talented actress too.
I kept lookiing all day between classes for the Oscars on Korean television, but could only find commercials for it. Seems they played it around 10 on Monday night or something like that... bummer. As for Scarlet Jo-hotty, I think she looked better in 'Lost in Translation' when she had red-hair and no silicon. Salma's dress is gorgeous though... perfect for her. And I thought 'Crash' was brilliant and powerful, but I haven't seen 'Brokeback' yet...

Is Scarlett siliconed already? At her age? Sheeeeeeeeeesh!
I saw Brokeback, and am glad it did not win. It was OK, but more notable for the subject matter than for being a wonderfully-acted & directed movie. I did not see Crash, but saw Capote, and liked it much better than Brokeback Mtn. I was happy to see Phillip Seymour Hoffman win Best Actor. His performance as Trueman Capote was masterful!

I beg to differ about Scarlet... she gets bigger every movie and awards show. I am pretty sure she has alluded to it in an interview I read, as well. Plus, nobodies boobs thrusts up like that naturally... unless your bra is made of metal and I imagine that would really hurt.

Oh Yeah!!!!! No doubt, the guy is Number One.......Do you watch Grey's Anatomy? Patrick Dempsey is my latest drool. So there, you guys!!!
I agree Nil Phillip was amazing in Capote, but the one line by him I'll never forget is in 'Along came Polly" when he's at the party and has to leave all of the sudden and he tells Ben Stiller he "Shat himself" classic line.
Also for those who haven't seen Crash, it is well worth renting. Very well done but pay extra attention as it jumps around alot. I believe its playing on the movie network this week.
