To be realistic, it all sounds exciting but don't look for Gainey to do much at all before deadline unless the Habs start another free fall. With the Cap thing, teams will have a hard time unloading or having fire sales. Gainey isn't a pro-active or assertive GM! He may grab a Scott Young from the Blues for his scoring abilities off the wing or something of that nature. He probably won't even lose a player off our current roster.

 I think we have to rely on our guys and hope they can all play hard defensively while chipping in the odd goal to get us to the playoffs.
