Trading Souray would be right up there as the worse trade

If they trade him, it would be a big mistake. It would be just as bad as when they unloaded all of  our talent after the 93 cup. The team is beginning to come together. Do we want to take three steps back again????? There must be some trade bait we could use   just my opinion

I agree my friend, you can't trade such loyal players like Souray. The guy would go through a wall for Gainey. We don't have many players that command respect like Souray or Rivet. Two defensmen that lead on and off the ice.

Just to add to this also. How can we afford to lose a D-man unless we get one in return? We are too shallow at that position to begin with.

After much thought and after viewing last nights game I remembered the quality of player and person Souray is. He's stated multiple times that he loves playing for the Habs and when he was traded to the CH, it was a blessing for good things to come. I agree that would he would not only go through a wall for Gainey but for the team.

The more I see of Souray the more I think that he. along with Saks, is the heart and soul of this club. He is finally starting to adjust to the new rules and getting back to himself. Note to Gainey. DO NOT TRADE SOURAY!!!
