Brule scored a hat trick and the Giants beat Price and Tri-City 3-1 , Brule's 1st goal was a tip in , pretty much a fluke since he turned his head to avoid being nailed by the puck himself , his 2nd goal WAS a complete fluke , one of his teamates tried to bank in a shot from behind the net and it careened in off of Brule's ankle while laying flat on the ice from a cross check , his third goal was a open net job when Tri pulled Price to try and tie the game .........

                             Price is a big kid with good lateral movement and a very good glove hand ...he is very quick for such a big man ....he stopped three clear breakaways , first goal against was Brule's errant tip in , the second as stated a complete fluke , the third an empty netter

                             Price's team ( Tri-City ) is very good defensively and very big , however do not seem to generate a lot of offensive ............it was only one game , imho Carey Price is a very good goalie ...lot's of up side

                            Brule had a very good game , took a lot of punishment , plays like a skilled  Mike Peca , obviously very skilled but I think he's going to have to change his style a little to survive in the Show .....he's too small to play the way he does at reckless abandon  and his injuries in Columbus attest to that ......he also has a temper and took some untimely penalties which against a more offensive powerhouse could have cost his team

                           the ultimate question ! did the Habs make the wrong pick , up untill this game I thought they had ....Price is very good and the Habs already have many players like Brule ...I think Timmins et al ..made the right move
